Sebastian Herkner

German designer, Sebastian Hernker, quickly made a name for himself in the design world from his talent of mixing unique materials and timeless shapes to create pieces of work that bridge material, function, and aesthetic details together. Hernker graduated from the Offenbach University of Art and Design specializing in Product Design; he briefly worked for Stella McCartney in London and afterwards opened his own design studio in Offenbach am Main in 2006. He is known to draw inspiration from observing people and their actions as a foundation to his designs, as well as employing traditional materials along with new technologies and finishing methods to produce his pieces of work.
