Section Wooden Bowl

The Wooden Bowl is both functional and decorative. It is large enough for storage of everyday fruits and greens and small enough for everyday carry. The woodgrain makes every bowl unique and is highlighted on the outside of the bowl due to the carves.

Section reveals the parts cut away from the center object when a piece of wood goes from raw plank to a refined product. Each working process affects the shape and expression of the material, with the many layers of woodgrains becoming more and more visual. All products in the Section line therefore show very different expressions according to the specific piece of wood. By cutting away parts of the wood, we not only highlight the wood but also give it form and purpose.
